Statement from NBCRA chairperson, Paul Little.


In a statement the chairperson of the North Belfast Civil Rights Association has condemned the decision of the Parades Commission to restrict a February 1st march in North Belfast.

Paul Little said that the NBCRA have a number of concerns regarding the Parades Commission's decisions. Those concerns are primarily that it is a thinly veiled attack on civil liberties and a real lack of transparency around the Stormont regime's secret political influence on the commission.

Parades Commission Suppressing Civil Rights

Guest writer, North Belfast republican socialist activist Paul Little drawing attention to a discrepancy in Sinn Fein's narrative in respect of a planned parade by the North Belfast Civil Rights Association.

Following the denial by Sinn Fein in yesterday's Irish News that they made a submission to the Parades Commission in regards to the NBCRA civil rights march we post a copy of the front page of the Parades Commission determination on the march and it clearly states that Sinn Fein did make a submission.
