Going on a hunt for my handwritten notes dissuaded me given that after a house move and a six year hiatus they could be anywhere and might take weeks to find. No exaggeration, given that it took almost three weeks for me to find a recording of an interview my wife and I once conducted for The Blanket with PSNI Chief Constable, Hugh Orde: something else that had fallen into the pit as a result of the move.
