The PH Pearse Society Galbally-Cappagh are proud to announce the 25th anniversary events for Vol. John Quinn, Vol. Malcolm Nugent, Vol. Dwayne O’Donnell and Tommy Armstrong, who were killed at Boyle’s Bar in Cappagh by agents of British Imperialism.On Sunday 28th February, we are holding a 5K Sponsored walk and are asking everyone to assemble in Cappagh Main Street for 2pm sharp.
On Friday 4th March, there will be a ‘Night of Reflection’ in Galbally Community Centre. The night will consist of stories, music and poetry. Everyone is welcome to attend what is sure to be a brilliant evening.
Finally, on Sunday 6th March, there will be an Independent Republican Commemoration, assembling at Galbally Community Centre for 2pm and proceeding to Cappagh Main Street. Again, all are welcome.
