Please take action to support the writer, poet and activist Aron Atabek, who is being mistreated in prison in Kazakhstan, where he is in jail for crimes he did not commit.
London Freelance Branch, the largest in the union, last year passed a resolution to support his case. As a result of a big international writers' campaign last year, he was moved to a prison closer to his family home. Now he is again being persecuted.
It makes a real difference if people write to the prison authorities along the lines that PEN International suggests, here.
