The obvious implication is that Adams/McGuinness/SF are eliminating opposing voices in the Republican movement before upcoming elections. Is this accurate (as far as the general perception in the street)? And if so, do the current SF leadership believe they will be able to wall off their own involvement in wartime operations from the current prosecutions?
