WBAI which has broadcast Radio Free Eireann since 1980 has started a fund drive which could determine whether it survives or not. Radio Free Eireann will be on the air today from 1-3pm New York time and again next Saturday, October 12 from 1-2 pm appealing for contributions to keep WBAI alive.
Please plan to give very generously so that we can be sure to keep broadcasting Radio Free Eireann on WBAI. If you have given in the past, try to at least match your largest contribution. If you have listened and never contributed, please plan to start now.
We don’t know what the future holds for us. We do know that the more we can raise in this fund drive, the better off we will be. Anything you can give will make a difference.
