Brian, you got them so well. Pushing that rubbish in places designed for the advancement of knowledge and they expect to be taken seriosuly.

Very intuitive and funny!
It would take more than a figleaf to cover what Gerry has to hide.

Intelligent design a clever legal argument rather than a religious one, I wonder would the unidentified god not specified in the argument would agree with the moral manipulation considering its design is to circumvent the teaching of creationism. Of course the unidentified god is none other than the Christian god, which deflates the argument as it is essentially the Christian god is right and we have the Ten Commandments to prove it. Separation of church and state is healthy much like the separation of religion and science is healthy though inevitably in an educated world the quest for meaning and understanding all paths cross (No pun intended) which is beneficial as the only way we learn is through debate.
In a perfect religious extremist world they would be content if we all remained illiterate and followed blindly even if that contradicts “free will” the right to decide between good and evil.

Great cartoon I won’t mention the fig leaf masking Adams shame as I recall the last comment I left on the cartoon with the dog taking a pee my laughter was seen as an attack on a certain political party.

Ahh michael henry it is all coming out now, speaking metaphorically of course.
I always wondered why you girls followed him so blindly. I always thought the attraction was Gerry's evasive speak and disarming charm.
Now you are telling us he has even more hidden revelations!

Clever allusion to Archbishop James Ussher lurks in illustration? Armagh's primate indeed. 1650 counting backwards, 2010 still doing so. An Orange archetype, and also for many Green Irish, one may aver.

Wonder will Gerry take a bite? Marty would if he was there he loves gingers.

Big G looks in a very precarious position kind of wedged between Eve and the unicorn.

Fionnuala Perry 10:27 PM, June 06, 2010

Surprised Marty has not been on with a comment about Big G and Ginger (Eve)

Maybe he has turned over a new leaf, because he is starting to sound very philosophical

marty 10:41 PM, June 06, 2010

nah Nuala I,m just trying to second guess what that unicorns next move will be,brill Brian as usual

Fionnuala Perry 10:59 PM, June 06, 2010

Gerry is surrounded, no doubt. However, he has gotten himself out of stickier situations than that.

marty 10:23 AM, June 07, 2010

Murphy,s law Nuala, never play leapfrog with a unicorn,

AM 10:35 AM, June 07, 2010

Marty, now we know what happened before the negeotiations. Blair gave them a unicorn to play with ... and the rest is history!!

Fionnuala Perry 1:37 PM, June 07, 2010

Marty, you know I am a bit slow at times, who is Adams, Eve?

marty 2:14 PM, June 07, 2010

the bear Gildernew they were seen, and the country and western girl Mary Lou is ripping it !

AM 2:21 PM, June 07, 2010

Marty, I wish I had a euro coin for every time some name was thrown about as Eve. Don't believe any of it.

marty 2:28 PM, June 07, 2010

me to Anthony the only ego thats matches his is the one he sees in the mirror, and he hums that wee ditty, o lord its hard to be humble ,when your perfect in every way,I keep looking in the mirror ,cause I get better looking each day

Fionnuala Perry 9:14 PM, June 07, 2010

Marty, I was asking who was Eve in the cartoon?
Naomi Long or Fergie, definitely no the "bear".

marty 10:27 PM, June 07, 2010

Sorry Nuala could be Iris in a ginger wig thats why we havent heard from her, ya know what the other side used to say they could tell a taig by the way they pronounced the letter h, so maybe as the big girl is a bit strapped cash ways she added the dreaded h to her name now Irish and is working as ginger Irish up in psf,s office in stormont as the bearded ones pa

Fionnuala Perry 10:46 PM, June 07, 2010

Bit over dressed for Iris, still think it's Fergie?
Bet Maskey would know!

marty 11:05 PM, June 07, 2010

Mary Mc will soon be out on her hoop, maybe, well I mean Nuala thon one is brave and fond of getting her pic taken and not a bit fussy who with, what do you think?
